Non Target (1st year, no spring weeks? nothing to do) (LONDON)

Finished my first year at a non target ~50th in the UK, studying banking and finance.

Got a high 1:1 (4.00) but didn't manage to secure any internships.
Obtained a introductory certificate from CISI/bloomberg certificates and currently doing the CISI capital markets program.

What am i supposed to do this summer? Just prep for recruiting for SA?

I was thinking of putting up my own website where i will post my own models/finance related stuff i do but i am pretty lost on what i should do or if there are other ways i can better spend my time.

I want to target S&T or credit analysis but unsure of where to start to be honest, maybe someone can provide some useful advice.

Some banks run programs where if you attend over the summer holidays, you can convert to a summer internship the following year. GS had one for their AM division, IBD and S&T, which just closed. BNP MS JPM have a few as well, but they are probably also restricted to women. Otherwise, just do good prep for the next round of applications. Try aiming for Deutsche Bank esp for S&T as I know they're fairly receptive to non-targets going by their last cohort.
