Non-Target S&T BB recruitment

Hello all, I’m hoping to land an S&T internship for 2024 in NY as a nontarget from Canada.

A few questions I have regarding recruitment processes, answers to any are helpful!

  1. Does every bank have non target recruitment captains?
  2. If I have a green card does that even my playing field with other non target US college students?
  3. How much does previous experience play into getting first round interviews vs. networking (ex. soph summer S&T at an MM)
  4. What are some differentiating factors or reasons you’ve personally seen when it comes to accepting non targets?

Definitely an uphill battle and forgive me if these are low quality questions - regardless would love to hear any potential answers. Thanks in advance!
