So I am thinking about taking some online courses that deal with trading, or at least signing up for free memberships with webinars and other resources to help educate myself on trading. I am currently in school, and this would be just like an extra-curricular. Also, I am going home for winter break in a couple weeks, and the Online Trading Academy is holding a "Power trading workshop" that I plan on attending. Is it okay to include these types of experiences, If i do them, on a resume? If so, where and how would you include it?

Your resume should be limited to 1 page. If you have enough space to provide it, sure you should do it. It signals to future employers that you know at least the basics of trading and that it is of great interest to you. Therefore I would put it under the heading ''Skills and interests'' as Interests: trading (Power trading workshop). Maybe leaving out the ''Power trading workshop'' if it is just a quick workshop everyone could do and does not make you really special compared to others that do not have attended. If, in an interview, they ask about your interests you could further explain it by naming the workshop.
I wouldn't just put "trading" as an interest, you need to qualify it, which is where I'd leave in the workshop. There's no point being able to expand upon it in the interview if you don't have an interview because of your suck up / obvious interests.
idk if id put the workshops in id rather hear you placed xyz in abc competition or othe stuff. i think most people laugh about the swiss finance academy things

I'm a rising senior and working at an IDB now but want to get more into trading. But mainly what I'm looking for is an online course that I could learn a little from and that would be a good resume booster. I haven't found much, basically the only thing I did so far was T3 Live which I'm not sure is even very credible. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
Idk about it being a resume booster, but babypips.com is a great site for forex trading. Of course, all of the technical it teach are applicable to other trading as well.
