Optiver Salaries
I was wondering what a software developer would typically be making at Optiver? The data on Glassdoor is all over the place (anywhere between $80K and $140K) so it's sort of hard to tell what would be the average compensation there. What would be a mid-level developer be making at a place like that? $120K? $150K? I know there are other factors to consider such as bonus, etc. What range should I ask for if I were to apply there?
As far as I've heard, base is like 90-95 iirc and then you get a bonus that increases with seniority. Starts off small (think 10 to 20k) but then grows to be reasonably substantial, in the multiple hundred thousands.
Seems a little low for a mid-level developer coming in who already has previous experience. I would definitely understand if it was a junior developer fresh out of school.
Sorry, didn't realize you had experience. I'm not sure how experienced hires work, actually. I imagine the base would still be the same but they would put you at more bonus? I'm not sure.
