P/L

Just out of curiosity, what would be an average daily P/L within a specific group at a trading house ? 50k? 500k?

I am sure it depends of the products being traded, but it would be nice to have an indication of what would a great trading team can do

You should read "The Most Important Thing" by Howard Marks. It's great to put a dollar amount on things, after all, this is the money business, but I think you need to understand risk adjusted return.

I knew i was going to get shit with such a question ! I meant a P/L with a flat book at the end of each day.

Don't think any trader in a BB will have a flat book at the end of each day. Maybe a very junior govie trader.... . For a junior in flow credit I would say daily PnL vol can be [-250k;+250k].
