Possible to make Big bucks in Day trading ?
Freshman Going HF route.Learning investing,trading etc. Ken griffin traded convertible arbitrage from his dorm room .Does it make sense now. Is it possible to make money today in Day trading in todays algo and high frequency algorithm world. learnt about Tim Sykes . Its not 1980's . Do day traders make millions now or the age is gone. Should I start day trading .

It's possible but you also brought up one of the most succesful guys you could think of. Trading is about risk, so of course you can make money, but you can also lose money. You need 25k to day trade. As a freshman do you have that? Also how much of that are you willing to lose?
