Prop Trading Questions

Of all the possible careers in finance, I seem to be most attracted to prop trading. I am a little worried about a few things. Say after 6 months to a year, I realize I am simply not good at it for whatever reason. What would I be able to move on to? Also say I do well and am pretty profitable and after 5 years I decide its time to move on. What exit opportunities are available?

The real question is how old are you? Nobody will punish you for making mistakes at 22 or so, we all need to find our way. In terms of exit opps...well...trading is so different from the rest that I would say it's pretty limited ie you cannot become a financial director, cannot switch to a marketing career etc and joining a top position. But you can start something new, ie set up a business on your own for e.g..
