Most oil majors have Rotational programs that I highly recommend you take a look at if interested in going that route - they offer great exposure across roles, responsibilities, and market perspectives - similar to those offered at large banks. If you have no experience in energy/commodities, the Energy Risk Professional (ERP) certification that I mention on the podcast is a great way to get up to speed quickly, focused on practical real-world knowledge (not how a book tells you energy markets work).
