Quant Summer Internship Help
Hey all. After failing to land anything full time earlier this year I applied for some quant summer internships and managed to land a few. I have a phone UBS phone interview, Citi on campus interview, and JPM phone interview. The only advice JPM gave me is that they said they'll asked questions about stochastic processes, conditional probability, and brain teasers. UBS said to read the vault guide. Citi said nothing. Anyone go through any of these and mind sharing their experiences? Thanks
i went through the citi quant for undergrads. Pretty easy. Got second round.
A triangle, one side 6, one side 8, one side x. What is the possible range of x? Given that x is an integer, what is the probability that x is 10? what is the smallest prime number y >2 that would make the polynomial y^3+7y^2 a perfect square?
so pretty easy.
1) 2 to 14 2) 0, assuming they imply x is uniformly distributed. 3) 29, basically you try to find smallest y, so (y+7) is a perfect square.
it is pretty easy, thx for sharing
Hellogoodbye how was the second round?
