At least in the US unless things have changed a lot in the past few years there is very little campus hiring in summer and most full-time campus hiring is done in the fall of senior year to start the following summer. There may be some hiring especially at smaller firms in the spring as well. 2024 has generally been a good year for trading firms so my uninformed guess is that it will also be a decent market for new grads although I understand there has also been a longer term trend of mostly hiring returning interns at many firms.
