Quick chat with HR?
I recently applied for an S&T internship at a BB. Got an email from HR asking if they could "have a quick chat with me". What should I expect from this "quick chat" with HR? This is my first time interviewing for internships so i have no experience.
They will likely start things off by telling you about the position and then ask you to walk them through your resume. Essentially, give a 1-2 min overview highlighting your experience and knowledge, and if you can squeeze it in, what excites you about the role. They will then usually ask if you have any questions about the role. It should be conversational in nature. They may ask a couple follow up questions (e.g., tell us about a specific project at school or about your MS skills for example. Wouldnt expect too many tricky questions as its your first internship so you dont have other experience to be grilled on). Good luck!
