Rates Trading Subsets

Hi, I had quite a few questions on rates trading; specifically the different desks there are at mosts banks and the relevant skillsets needed/differences.

To my knowledge, there are swaps trading desks (USD, Euro Swaps etc), govt bond trading desks (USTs etc), STIR desks, rates options desks, inflation trading desks and EM Rates desks. Are there any I am forgetting/have got mixed up with? Similarly to STIR, is there some desks which only trade longer dated products?

Furthermore, generally and in terms of being an intern, what are the main difference in skillsets required- i.e. I am sure that rates options would probably have more modelling and coding than some others- and which desk requires the most macro knowledge/taking views on markets/discussing events? And with respect to EM what are the main differences between EM and Developed markets (quick search gave things like volatility, political events etc- any more info?)

Thanks and appreciate it.
