Recruiting to Start Immediately
I am currently in New York and have been working a boring job in the consulting world. My junior summer internship was in Sales and Trading at a mid-tier BB (think DB, Citi, etc.) but I did not accept my return offer before the deadline for a variety of reasons. Now, I'm in New York City in a job I don't enjoy, dying to get back into finance. I would do banking, S&T, Asset Management, or research but would prefer something with a market focus (not banking). I am trying to continue to network but obviously times are tough right now in the hiring market. Are there firms that look year round that wouldn't make me wait until summer 2012 to start? Should I be interviewing with the FT2012 recruiting cycle? Any advice would be much appreciated. Please feel free to PM me. HELP!
