Risk Management working with traders

Hey all, wanted to ask opinions on an offer I received 2 weeks ago.

I go to a semi target state school, and received an offer from a top BB (GS, MS, JPM) in credit risk management, where I have the option to work on product management with a specialization in a product (Equity derivatives, FX, rates) and the role would be analyzing trades sent from the desks, and I think it sounds pretty interesting. Given that the firm is one of the best, and the salary is competitive, what do you all think? It was not my first choice of positions originally, but I like some (not all) of the people I met there throughout the process.

Thanks a lot!

It is for next summer, and OCR for SA hasn't even started yet, so I have no other offers but could possibly get some. The problem is that this is exploding in less than a month, and OCR results for my school wouldn't be known until lat February.

It is a decent job close to the trading desk at a top BB....You want to work as a trader and you can't calculate the risk involved in I) not taking this job offer and as a result opening the risk of receiving 0 offers or even a worse offer and II) Failure to account for the assumed at least $4000 you would make over the course of the 1 month wait period.
