Sales and trading 2025
Is it too late to get into a sales and trading 2025 internship? I was aware that most top banks were recruiting in early April and May but thought some would still be open. I was not ready to apply yet and was still securing an internship for myself for summer 2024 and wanted to take the SIE and do other things to make me a more attractive applicant but I feel as if I am too late now.
I'm sorry you had to find out this way but the SIE doesn't make you a more attractive candidate.
I was hoping it would show my interest in the field. Didn't have the most experience on my resume given I was going premed the first year.
Timing is almost everything on these apps. Even if apps are open, there's a non zero chance the internship is already full anyway because apps are rolling and do not wait for the deadline to hand out offers.
Not many, if any, will be open though and they'll probably be going to waitlisted people already. Start thinking about backup plans.
