Sales and Trading best path for me?

Hey everyone,

I am a little confused with my path in finance. I have recently gained a strong interest in technology and fintech, and wanted to get into investment banking tech coverage mainly because i believe it's a great way to be exposed to several tech deals, and understand how to value tech companies.

However, I do think I want to be in a job where I can create algorithms/and be innovative and learn. Investment banking seems pretty repetitive later on, and I think being a quant is too math intensive and being a VC might not be challenging enough to hold my interest.

I was thinking sales and trading would be a happy medium, or working at a fintech start up. Thoughts?

Also S&T does require some coding which I do wish to learn
