Sales and Trading career

hey,i hope all is well. i'm a sophomore business school student and i'm interested in pursuing Sales & Trading, however, i don't know how the process of landing an S&T job works? do you have to work in IB for a few years or can you enter S&T straight out of business school? any recommendations and advice would be very much appreciated. be safe y'all 🤝
