Sales and Trading Recruitment for Summer 2028

Hey y'all, current sophomore recruiting for SnT (T), interested to hear how the process is going for everyone. Any networking advice specifically for SnT? Any early insights on what people have heard back from (I've heard back from RBC CM) and just how the vibes are for you guys? Or just broad advice from those in the field!

For S&T, I’d focus networking conversations on specific markets, products, and how traders think about risk rather than just asking about the recruiting process. Having a couple of thoughtful questions about recent market moves can make a chat feel much more natural. I’d also keep a simple tracker for contacts, follow-ups, applications, and interview dates so nothing slips through the cracks when recruiting gets busy. Since timelines can vary a lot by bank and desk, I wouldn’t read too much into someone else hearing back earlier. Staying consistent and building genuine connections is probably more useful than trying to decode every recruiting rumor. Keeping information organized is valuable in any fast-moving workflow, much like platforms such as Phonexa help teams manage connected processes.
