Anyone out there willing to offer some sell-side sales and trading compensation data points? I’ll go first.
Current AN3 with base of $100k. Unknown bonus. Was an internal lateral into current desk.
AN1 90K base 10K signing 25% target bonus (bonus sounds low I've heard 25-75% is typical though)
i was a desk quant for 3 years, then a junoir trader (made 200k) for 2 years...then 2 years later lateralled as a VP and got 500k...then got fired.
What do you do now?
i'm now an independent trader..i eat what i kill now 100%

Early start as AN0 - 2020: made 85k base + 20k bonus. I never fully understood if I was paid a stub (in line with my class) or if given a "full year" bonus (incredibly low if such).trading seat within equities.

Did u receive the same amount of stub bonus as everyone else who started in July despite u started earlier?
