Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights and updates related to the Shell Trading Development Programme:

  • Application Openings: The Shell Trading Development Programme (TDP) has opened applications for the US and UK.
  • Interview Process: The interview process for the Shell TDP can be quite rigorous. Previous candidates have mentioned that the interview is challenging, so thorough preparation is recommended.
  • Assessment Details: If you have taken the assessment before and did not pass, Shell has restrictions on the frequency of test-taking. You may need to wait 1-2 years before reapplying.
  • Location Applications: There is some uncertainty about applying to multiple locations, but it seems there are no explicit restrictions mentioned. However, it's always best to check the specific guidelines for the current application cycle.

I am based in London. Got invitation to complete an assessment. The hiring process on TDP website does not mention assessment so I am a bit confused. I read an old post on WSO which i from 2017 and OP mentioned that they were sent an assessment as well. Do you guys have any idea if the assessment is sent to everyone or only selected individuals? I applied last year but was rejected .....so it seems like this assessment is kind of an on/off thing for them
