Shipping Graduate Programs / entry level roles?

Does anyone on this forum have experience in the freight trading / dry bulk industry? Wondering if any of the freight trading specific trading houses (thinking of firms like Navig8 or Teekay or Oldendorff, not ABCD firms with large freight books) have rotational programs / entry-level positions that can lead to a freight trading seat?

For example, supermajors have rotational programs out of school for energy trading, along with the ABCD firms for ags trading. Metals usually doesn’t have rotational programs (except for a few), and I know that a lot of people start out as a trading assistant on an ops / risk desk to gain some experience. Wondering if freight trading is more like metals in the fact that not many rotational programs exist, and you need to just get an entry level position.

Freight trading is really interesting to me since it seems like pure-play physical trading, however, there is a shocking lack of information on this forum about it (and the internet for that matter). Any insight is appreciated. Also wondering what hours / WLB / comp is like for an entry level position in the fright trading world.

I agree freight trading is something that is hard to find information on alot of the time. Seems like an industry that’s a small circle. Would love to learn more
