Signing Bonus Numbers
Anyone want to share info on this year's signing bonuses for entry level positions? Particularly BB's. Would also be interested to hear the numbers on small boutiques and small hedge funds, etc.

$10k a year and a half ago.
Its still 10K everywhere for kids out of undergrad, for the BB's (I count just 8 of them now: MS, GS, Citi, DB, BOA-ML, BarCap, UBS, CS)
You forgot JPM. Kind of an important one.
I heard they don't give any s-o bonuses currently... or give such a small amounts that it looks like nothing. But maybe i'm wrong

What about boutiques?
hm, for some of the boutique sell-side and MM buy-side firms the sign on for undergrads is 5K, but for many its 10K. Haven't heard anything besides these numbers. However, all BB's have 10K, though I have heard that Deutsche Bank still hasn't paid there's out yet (which sucks since they have training in like four weeks).
It shouldn't be surprising that bonuses for BB's are parallel to one another - thats how it has always been.
20k for large macro HF.
I meant the elite boutiques. BX/GHL/EVR/LAZ, etc. I'm particularly interested in LAZ and BX.
Ah, no info on them - I would venture to guess they would be in line with the bulge bracket firms. Large Macro HF - hmmmm...Quant role?

Barcap's signing bonus is 15k not 10k.
