Yoyo. Received two offers just now. Could anyone in the industry plz talk about the best desks // return rate // relocation flexibility for these two banks?
my interest & previous snt internship desks at another BB are more FICC-focused
Two great shops but i can just take one unfortunately..
when did nomura run ????
Superdayed like a fews weeks ago..
when did you superday, and when did u receive an offer
Bump
What desk(s) are you more interested in? Look at league tables
credit + rates + money markets/STIR.....
basically all bonds; but very open minded as well
For credit look at IG/HY league tables. Not a perfect representation but it’s a good proxy for how prominent the desk since they deal with issuance ofc

If you are interested in doing something in the fixed income space Nomura has a pretty solid securitized products team.
any idea on flow credit / rates / credit deriv? That's more like something i did at another BB: want to keep going down this road
I don’t know much about how either of those firms compare in credit/rates. Id look at the credit league tables for IG/HY see where they rank, its not a perfect proxy for active the trading desks are but its close.
Which bank is better in terms of return rates???
does UBS go in waves? if so, are you target?
semi
Nomura rarely gives return offers. Do UBS
really? i heard they both have a pretty good return rate
yea. UBS is also bigger and more notable, so better exits. personally i would choose UBS
how long did you hear back after nomura superday?
