Sports trading funds

Does anybody here know anything about sports trading/betting funds? Are these a good place to work, particularly in London? Would it be possible to move from a sports trading fund to a traditional options position?

Cheers

Yeah I noticed some serious industry players have desks, but what about the small sports trading focussed shops. Do you think it's feasible to start your career at an unknown sports trading focussed fund and transition into an options trading position at some point.

Cheers!

Anyone know what kind of strategies these firms use? Do they play more of a bookie role and market make/ arbitrage or do they take directional bets (betting outright on games, goal spreads etc.)?
