S&T Associate recruiting season - about to start, or DOA?

Well, this one is easy. The markets have had a good summer, volatility is low, and elections are in the fall... and so is the start of the recruiting season.

For those of you at BBs, what's the general feel for recruiting appetite? Any changes to previous years?

And most specifically: S&T recruitment at business schools. What's the word?

went through recruitment last year.... they heavily cut down on positions on the floor because the activity had been lessening. There is just more competition this year but dont let that deter you. If you can leverage your network, it is the best way to get your resume to shine through.

Positions reduced, some banks didn't recruit for markets. Competition is up but they're still hiring. Overall interest on the student side is also lower.
