Sales is definetly an easier interview than trading. 90% of it is just being the boy. Meaning, it is vibes based. Could this person talk to clients daily, is this person likeable/coachable, would I enjoy sitting next to this person at 7am.

Technicals wise: Brush up on basic bond math and basics of basic equity derivatives (options, futures, forwards, and IR swaps). Other than that they may throw some brain teasers at you (ones you'll find in the IB guides i.e. what is X% of 43 or something similar). Know a long pitch and short pitch based off of something different than a macro catalyst (i.e. base the pitch on some basic ratios & modeling). And know what is going on in market. Good luck.
