I'm currently a sophomore with an upcoming internship in one of the BB S&T in a developing country. I'm wondering what are the chances to lateral to a larger office (SG/HK) within the same firm for another SA or directly FT (can graduate in 6/7 semesters)? How useful is it to network with bankers from the same bank at the target location? How important networking is in Asia? What are the best strategy and chances and how to not burn bridges along the way?
