Stock Alert Services?? Anyone ever use before?

as a buy side director, and part time swing trader on the side, i like dive into trading using technical analysis. it's usually short term trades for a few days to weeks. after doing research I find it usually amusing to see some of the services out there. that said though, over the last few weeks i've been following one or two services, and one has done pretty damn well in that time frame. even with the drop in the overall market.

my question to the fellow monkeys is 1) has anyone ever heard of or used K Capital Advisors (www,kcapitaladvisors.com) and 2) has anyone ever used a stock alert service before? i'm curious to what people have done, if anything, in the past and what their experiences have been.
