Structured Finance Analyst in BB vs Trading Analyst in a prop shop

Hi guys,

I have an offer and an assessment centre lined up for a Structured Finance position at a top3 BB and a Trading Analyst position in a top5 prop shop. Unfortunately, the offer deadline is before the superday. My questions are: 1, How common is the transition from SF to trading? If I accept the offer and want to switch later on, will it decrease my chances? 2, Let's say I switch after a year. On the long term (4-5 years), in terms of exit opps, will that year in SF matter or should I rather consider taking risks here and decline the offer? 3, If I let the trading firm know about the case, is it possible that I can negotiate with them to offer me a position for next year?

any help is much appreciated!
