Everyone on here always talks about IB compensation. What is the typical S&T summer intern compensation? Is it the same for IB, even tho S&T usually works fewer hours?

MM IB, $0 per hour. Private firm where employees don't want to pay us out of pocket. too good of an opportunity to turn down with the little experience I have
Exact compensation as IB SAs at the BB I'll going to this summer - prorated off the same salary and overtime is the same rate. Only deal for them is they'll be getting much more overtime than us in S&T haha
Depends on the desk and the firm. At my BB, many S&T interns worked just as many hours as the IB interns.
I don't think most SAs would mind - was just pointing out that IB interns may pay out a bit more than S&T based on average hours/week.
NYC BB: 85k prorated and 2.5k housing allowance. No overtime.

I was offered 85K prorated + 50% hourly for overtime from a BB. Not completely sure when it kicks in because I receive the letter later this week but just wanted to give in my input. I was also offered 50k Prorated + 1.5k Relocation + ~3-4k performance bonus at end of summer from a propshop
For S&T, it's 85K prorated over 10 weeks, a 2K relocation stipend, and overtime at half for hours in excess of 40. As an S&T summer analyst, you typically work around 55-60 hours. Sometimes, if you're a returning sophomore intern, there's a nice additional bonus on top of all of that.
