switch to trading/structuring and asset class
is there any possibility to switch to trading/structuring roles in a different asset class after almost 2 years in the current role? Within FICC, which desks are growing especially for London/HK?
Depends a bit on product. For example, Fx -> rates isn't terribly hard because they both deal with a lot of the same macro conditions. Something like commodities to exotic derivs would be much tougher.
I see. In terms of exit would trading be more valuable than structuring? Or would that also depend on the product
