tech, finance, careers

I put this topic here since I mostly look at the trading forum and maybe people on this forum have had similar backgrounds

I am a senior at a target school. I want to start specializing and developing a strong skill set but I am not sure what path to pursue.

Background:
-Math major. I am good at math and okay at programming. Will graduate near top of class.
-Interned in FICC trading at a BB (I liked it but I don't want to do flow trading for various reasons).
-I think I'm reasonably intelligent but I'm not super smart.

-I am introverted. I think I do ok socially but would not thrive in a sales role for example.

Thoughts:
-I really enjoy learning about finance and following the markets. Honestly I find it a lot more interesting than basically anything else I've done in school. I also really enjoyed reading books about value investing.

-I like finance but I am hesitant because there doesn't seem to be much job stability in the industry.

-I got offers at some good prop shops and a quant fund. But i'm not sure if it's my thing (too quanty?).

-I could also work really hard at programming and pursue a career in software in the tech industry. However, I just don't find software engineering that interesting and it's not as appealing to me as finance. Yet it seems like there might be less stress and more job security if I become a good programmer?

TLDR: should I pursue a career in tech (not that interested but seems more stable) or finance (more interested but less stable?). Or something else? My strongest skill has always been math (lots of theoretical classes, math olympiads...) but maybe I don't need to do something that technical.
