tech vs s&t
I have a couple options of where I want to work: (1) S&T at BB and (2) SWE/PM at FAANG.
While tech seems to be by far the better industry, I feel like the earning potential in S&T could be higher. I also feel like I would enjoy the work almost equally, but tech would definitely be less stressful and more friendly.
Some more context, a few analysts who worked in similar roles that I would in S&T have moved over to the buy-side successfully, which is why I feel the earning potential is higher even early in career. Despite that, tech pays almost twice as much right out of college.
Thanks!
