THEY LIKED ME! But I wanted to go to sales...

So I really want to go to the sales part of S&T and yesterday during the on campus career fair I talked to a couple of banks and other companies and this is what I go.

Notes before I start this: I don't have a super high GPA, NOT a business student, and not coming from a target school, but I have really good people skills, been working since forever, and have a good resume when it comes to working and leadership. Also I'm about to graduate so these are all for full time positions.

Goldman did not have anything open except in PWM and the people that were their were for technology so they couldn't help me with anything.

JP Morgan- They have client service Associate job open for their private banking client and person that I talked to liked me and said that she would keep an eye out for my application to come in and also gave me her business card.

Fidelity (FFAS)- They have a inside sales job open and you work your way up to wholesales (I accidental dropped the pamphlet that they gave me that gave me all the steps in the career but I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about). They really liked me also. Got their cards and they told me to apply and everything. I believe it was them that told me that they make sure that I get an interview.

Chase- They have a leadership development program analyst (undergrads) open. They really liked me also and she gave me all her info and took my resume and wrote notes on it.

Bank of Texas- The main person wasn't their but they really liked me also and I just have to call them and do follow ups. They also told me to apply.

The other companies were not banks but the ones that liked me were Visa, Sungard, and Microsoft. I'm also talking to a guy at Merrill lynch (that is looking at my resume...said he would help me) and have friends friends in Morgan Stanley but that's about it.

I have a passion for sales, marketing, customer service, doing damage control and all that. I'm good at it and all my jobs were related to them. Have had jobs that I had for years and some that I had as extra income. The person at chase told me that in sales you have to start at it and you making a lot of money in it as you go and also a lot of opportunities to do other stuff also. But nobody has a sales job open right now because they get all their people from internships.

Which one of these would give me the best salary and opportunity for moving up?

Thanks in advance :)

P.S. I'm going to apply to all of them but just wanting some input. Also I gorilla typed this.

No they didn't.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

Just from this post alone, I doubt you'll get very far. You seem to be really out of touch with reality if just the idea of applying has got you so worked up. Most people in front office are super nice so yes, they liked you and they also liked every other person at the career fair. I know this is negative but you have to be realistic to get results. If you don't go to a target school, then you need to do a lot more work than just going to a career fair to get an interview.
