I wouldn't touch any of them. They got crushed the past few days, and most are likely a BUY right now at the depressed levels. Except BAC, they will get hammered by this due to servicing somewhere near 40% of all mortgages in the nation. Also, most have earnings next week. I know C, BAC, and WFC, so they should have guidance on the conference calls and transcripts. Listen to them!
Short them. There is a long way to go.
Buy puts on BAC.
only risk here is if they post big numbers on the 19th and it is currently - 30 pe ratio lolz
BAC will not have big numbers. Late last week they had a spike in puts on they stock.
Maybe, but will the write downs be shown in this quarter report or next quarter?
