Top BB SA Work Hours
Hi everybody,
I'm interning at a BB (JPM, GS, MS) for S&T Lon 2023. Heard a lot of varying stories about intern working hours, in at weekends etc from either previous interns or guys I know returning.
Interned at a different BB last year and SA S&T hours were around 7am-7pm with no weekend working. Any indication of what to expect at GS, JPM MS?

Depends on desk but around that. Maybe 7 -8 or 9 come final project time but same times generally
I would have thought for s&t you have to be in for 6?
it really just depends on the desk. Some clearing desks have you in at 5:45 and out at 6. Other desks have you in at 7.
With much weekend work or not really? Heard there can be a lot of S&T SAs that were in office on weekends in HK office
desk dependent lolllllll. I know kids who were in every weekend just trying to grind and get the return while working on deliverables. Other interns didn't step foot in the office once on the weekends.
I would also add that for final project it's not always a pitch with deliverables. Was really close with ABS guys doing agency (very technical seat) and they had interns just answer questions for 30 minutes. Something to keep in mind
Pretty interesting, didn't even think of that. What sort of questions? Obviously some product ones? General experience, quizzes on other desks etc?
