Trading operations in Bp/Shell and then move as a trader, any thought?
I am working as a trading operator and I would like to become a commodity trader is it difficult if I have 1-2 years of experience in ops?

Commodity trading takes several years in operations to get a seat. Many folks never make it and become lifelong ops people.

I made that move. There's no prescriptive experience time.
In my experience, as an operator, you are given the position, and your job is to optimise.
To make the move to trader, demonstrate you've clocked the operator role, and you have the abilities to trade, and have ideas to improve the portfolio.
