Trading Opportunities in Ohio

I'm a HS senior and I am interested in the finance industry, specifically trading. Are there finance industry/trading jobs to be had in Cincinnati or Columbus or should I expect to move to New York or Chicago?

On another note are the finance programs at Ohio State, Ohio University, or University of Cincinnati good enough or should I attend a target?

MatlinPatterson recently seeded a credit fund in Cleveland run by former traders from Keycorp. Maybe you can ask them for an internship.

Too late for second-guessing Too late to go back to sleep.

Don't go to OU. If you're going to stay in Ohio and want to pursue finance, go to Miami University or Ohio State, then UC as a backup.

"I don't know how to explain to you that you should care about other people."

Okay thanks for the input I could get into targets but I would have a considerable amount of debt since my parents will only match the cost of a state school. I also have a good chance to get big scholarships to the local schools whether it be athletic or academic. What makes OSU or Miami better than OU?

can't comment on OSU/OU.

Apply to the state schools and the targets. See what what everything costs once you are in and decide from there. I do not think a target is work 100's of thousand in debt though
