Hi,
I’m a software engineer at Google and am bored with my work. I’ve always been interested in the markets. My first job was at an algorithmic trading hedge fund (although I didn’t work directly on trading logic).
Having just moved to NY, I was wondering if there are any jobs at IBs on the trading floor that I would have a shot applying/networking into. Jobs that require strong communication and programming skills with some knowledge of markets, but that don’t require a graduate Math degree or prior IB experience.
