Trading Risk
What sort of background does someone who works in the risk area of a trading operation have? Is it an actuarial type position or one that anyone good at math could step into?
What about at banks and hedge funds? These places seem to have "Chief Risk Officers" but it's hard to find information on what they studied, etc.

To people on this forum, you don't need to major in the most quantitative subject to land a job in finance.
That is all.
Google Aaron Brown, as he's probably the most well-known Chief Risk Officer arnd... You can read some books about him, as well as the ones he has written himself.
