Trafigura Cultural Video Interview
got an invitation to do a "Cultural Video Interview" with Trafi for a grad program. Had no idea tradehouses even did this...sounds like a hireview to me. Any insights on what they ask/what the process is like?

How was it? I just got an invitation for the cultural video interview too. Plan on doing it tomorrow. Assume it's all behavioral but could be wrong

Went well. It was just their version of a hireview. 5 questions that were all behavioral (A time you failed, conflict with a team member, working with a diverse team etc). Got invited to the technical portion after.

I think the start date varies on when you graduate/if you’ve already graduated. Could be wrong though

Anyone know if you're supposed to apply to the location in which you have right to work?
I think it is important, especially for locations like the US or EU. Last year I applied as a fresh graduate. After the interview with the Swiss office, the HR called back to say: actually the results were exceedingly good. However, for visa concerns they would not proceed.
Are graduates from past year (2016,2017,2018) allowed to apply for this programme?
Culture at trading houses. is VERY important... just be yourself. They want to see that they can sit with you and interact with you for 50 hours a week for 10-20 years. Because remember, once you hit the trading floor the only promotion is retirement.
Do you mind talk a bit more that? I am really curious. Especially, a lot of people say Traf values it more than any other trading houses. A lot of former applicants, myself included, felt that the moment you step in they had already judged your character. My friend, who interviewed, eventually went to LDC. She says she could still feel it when she interacts withe Traf people in conferences and other negotiations.

I know for sure that some people have been rejected in September. I have no insights regarding potential first rounds though.

At what point do corruption investigators start investigating you? Is that after the cultural interview or do you actually have to start as a FTE?
