Undergraduate Commodities Competition

Hi all! This coming October (10th-Mixer, 11th-Competition), We are hosting the "Undergraduate Commodity Competition” (UCC). This is an Energy/Commodities focused competition that focuses on allowing students to demonstrate their talents by pitching equities / commodity trade ideas to a panel of industry judges.

We believe that these types of competitions are the best way for students to apply what they are learning in their finance courses while also networking/recruiting with top tier firms. With some of the previous firms that have attended being:

Phillips66, Jefferies, Balyasny Asset Management, Citi, BP, ConocoPhillips, Mercuria, Musket, TotalEnergies, Novum Energy, Piper Sandler, Morgan Stanley, Kpler, Evercore, Among Others

Regarding travel arrangements we are pleased to say that we will be offering free lodging in Houston for the event for any team/members.

We would love for students that may be interested in competing at the event or any professionals interested in attending the mixer the day before, dm me for more details as WSO doesn't love links.

Please feel free to dm me in case of any questions, happy to get on a call!
