-Negotiate prices with counterparts from India, China, the US, Europe
-Learn about useful information in chats, trying to get more than they give, and connect that to infer something about the fundamentals
-Weigh the risk/reward of potential trades knowing that historical data and patterns alone don’t perfectly predict anything because every year has a regime shift in one critical component or the other
It’s just a different task than guessing the next words in a useful answer or summarizing text info from various sources succinctly
Maybe yes for eliminating inefficient reporting functions and giant IT bureaucracies, but not likely to replace good traders anytime soon
