What do you think when I say BlackRock Portfolio Management Group

Whenever I say BlackRock fellow ugrads immediately think of PAG...and it leads to a conversation where I say not PAG but PMG. I know this is ridiculous question to ask, but I do get respect for working in PMG right? I know PAG is shit, but I was under the impression PMG carried some weight.

Dude don't worry about people saying that. PAG, PMG, very different. But PMG happens to be the hardest division to get into at Blackrock. So if you could get into Blackrock PMG...... and thats the field you would like to be in (asset management) then I would go for it.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you that big of a prestige whore?

Both PAG and PMG are solid groups to work in. Many people in PMG are transfers from PAG. If you are truly this much of a douche, perhaps you shouldn't sign the offer. Afterall, you will in all likelyhood end up working for someone who started off in PAG and went to a non-target.
