who are the big players in rice, coffee and sugar trading?
title. I see lots of places getting more into agro, with places adding grain desks to trading houses. Are these firms becoming bullish on agro? Whatever the case, I’m very interested in the commodities of rice sugar and coffee within the world of physical agro commodity trading. Who are the big players in this realm? How does it generate revenue, does it use location arbitrage or any other methods? What is the outlook for this in the next few years?
Rice - Louis Dreyfus
Sugar - Cargill
Coffee - NKG

Rice - Might be Memphis, TN, might be Wilton, CT but I'm honestly not sure how much they do in the Americas for rice.
