Autobiography of Jordan Belfort is coming out soon. He ran Stratton Oakmont, the biggest boiler room in history. the movie boiler room was based on him and his new book is also going to be a movie directed by martin scorsese. I am interested in this because Jordan Belfort was my mom's next door neighbor growing up and they were friends.

I wish ther was more wall street-esqe movies. But im not excited for this. the only movies they make are about cheats and crooks. i wish they would make a movie about honest wall street. dont really care about some scumbag who ran a boiler room cause he sucked at trading.
Who would want to watch a movie about honest wall street. The fun of watching movies about really rich people is their downfall.

I agree. Following the story of an honest kid on the street would be kind of boring. They should make a movie about BSAM, plenty of drama there.
But Gordon Gekko is the man, a modicum of Wall Street culture and needs to return to the big screen.
