Working on moving to the US and have some questions. Thank you for you feedback!

Hello everyone, Hope all of you are safe and sound first of all!

I recently started working on my move to the US from Israel and I have some questions about what's the best places to apply to? what places can I apply to based on my experience? Bassicaly I'm still on my learning curve trying to figure out how the spedific industries work here in the US. I am currently working as a Market Risk Analyst at a large insurance firm for about 2 years managing all market & model risk of a $40B portfolio, before that I was working for about 3 years as a FX & Commodities Sales trader on the sell side both with corporate & institutional clients at a private firm (I guess the best way to describe it is like a smaller BGC/TB/INTL FCStone etc.). The best part of the job was that I got to trade everything from simple hedging strategies to complex structures using all types of exotic derivatives and ran a proprietary portfolio of G10 and some more exotic currencies so I was able to learn and earn experience in several fields (OTC only as I only worked with FX and Commodities). I guess my question is what types of institutions here in the US hire Sales Traders? Is it only BB or are there HF or other private firms that hire?

Thank you for your feedback and again, stay safe and health!
