Any other career options after I did corp D intern before/while at Tuck?

Hi friends,

I am a Asian male with biotech scientific and technical operation background. Undergrad is a Big10 public school. I am going to Tuck this fall. While I originally planned to recruit for MBB or go back to industry, I fortunately landed a Business Dev/Corp Dev internship at a pharma. (btw my manager is a D masters' graduate) My current employer is at a good position: large cash flow, a promising asset (a drug candidate), small headcount, and being publicly listed. So my job right now is to identify M&A opportunities to get another assets, evaluate the opportunities, conduct market analysis and hopefully close the deals. We hire industry-specific consulting and IB firms to help us on those efforts.

With such background, do you think I will have a shot at PE/VC? Please specify.

Thanks a million!
