Atlanta Venture Capital Scene
Hey everyone - Was curious if anyone had knowledge on the Atlanta Venture Capital scene. Specifically curious about any knowledge of BIP Capital, Valor Ventures or Atlanta Ventures. Really information on the landscape / recruitment / activity / comp would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
Add Noro-Moseley to your list, they’re on their 7th or 8th fund and have some decent things in the portfolio. Also Accel-KKR has an ATL presence depending on how broadly you define venture
Got it, do you know if either recruit through HHs or are more ad-hoc? If through HHs, any idea who represents them?
VC hiring process is usually a mixed bag, especially in a non-SF/NYC/BOS city. In the Southeast, I've seen HHs recruit for smaller firms while bigger firms rely on ad hoc processes. So it really depends on the firm.
I would just start looking and applying/networking since both HHs and firms post jobs online.
