Best Path to VC/ Tech Corporate and Finance Strategy
I am currently a BBA student at UC3M (semi-target to target) in Madrid. My ultimate goal is to end up in VC, corporate VC or Corporate/Finance Strategy. What would be the most realistic path, I heard that consultants are more appreciated than IBs within these sectors due to their wide skill set. Could Big4 be a good starting point (not audit/tax assurance but deal consultancy or M and A)?, because my uni has internship agreements with them. I am almost discarding BB IBs due to how selective they are in Madrid although a slight chance exists on getting in. I would personally prefer boutiques due to their learning opportunities/ deal exposure and I do not care about prestige that much.
